Production at the Volkswagen plant in Emden, East Frisia, Germany, has come to a halt following protests by farmers.
"Production is at a standstill," a Volkswagen spokeswoman said.
The roads to the factory are blocked by farmers' protests. Because of this, it was not possible for employees to come to work. It affected the production of combustion models, reports Nezavisne novine.
Production of electric cars is not scheduled to restart until next week after the Christmas holidays.
It is not known exactly how many employees were affected by the production shutdown. Production was supposed to resume on Tuesday.
Currently, 5,5 tractors are moving towards the center of Munich, the police reported on the X social network.
"Avoid the entire area as much as possible," city officials said.
