The Japanese company Toyota Motor maintained its position on the international vehicle sales market for the fourth year in a row, the Kyodo agency reports based on its own estimates.
The agency states that Toyota sold 10,22 million vehicles between January and November last year, while its main competitor Volkswagen sold 9,24 million, reports Capital.ba.
Toyota has yet to release official sales figures for last year.
On December 27, the Japanese company presented a report stating that it produced a record 9,23 million vehicles in the period from January to November.
The previous record was set in 2019 when Toyota produced 9,05 million vehicles.
