The Vesuvius-Volcano company, which celebrates its 25th birthday this year, proudly announced its new partnership with a young motorist Filip Kunčer. This sponsorship is part of a jubilee called "25 years in place", and is part of the project Volcano Sport Support, which aims to support young talents in sports.
Volcano will sponsor Filip Kunčer in six international circuit races, two of which will be held at prestigious Formula 1 tracks - Hungaroring in Hungary and Red Bull Ring in Austria. Kunčer will be the only representative of Montenegro and the first driver to drive in the ESET RENAULT CLIO CUP in 2024.
- We are extremely proud to be able to support the young driver Filip Kunčer in his sports career, because his talent and results inspire us. We are glad to be a part of his journey towards achieving great success, pointed out the director of corporate communications of the Vesuvius Group, Lena Bošković, and added that we have to admit that auto sport has been neglected in recent years, even though it has a great tradition and many champions who grew up here. We hope that this support represents a significant contribution to the development of motor sports in our country and that it will return motoring to the good old paths of success.
- Through the continuation of our socially responsible activities with Filip, a 24-year-old young man, Volcano wants to draw attention to the importance of traffic safety - pointed out Bošković.
Kunčer thanked Volcan for recognizing his love and passion for motoring and said that this support means a lot to him ahead of the upcoming international races
- I will do my best to justify the trust placed in me by Volcano with good results, hard work, promotion of sports, promotion of motoring and traffic safety.
