German car and truck manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has recalled 341 GLE and GLS models produced from 2017 to last year due to fire hazards.

The recall also applies to 109 of their vehicles in Slovenia.

Mercedes-Benz has determined that the 48-volt grounding point under the passenger seat on some GLE and GLS vehicles may be loose, reports STA.

As a precautionary measure, the Mercedes-Benz service organization will check the earthing shoe screws in the affected vehicles and repair it if necessary.

"All the documents important for the implementation of the service measure in Slovenia were forwarded to the authorized Mercedes-Benz service centers last Friday", it was announced from the Emil Frey Group, whose company Star Import is the general Mercedes-Benz representative for delivery vehicles of passenger cars and light vehicles from Mercedes-Benz in Slovenia, reports Capital.ba.

As they state, the recall in Slovenia covers 109 vehicles, one of which has already been serviced. The necessary check or repair is free for customers and takes about an hour.
