Three poachers were caught yesterday in illegal hunting, in Gostiljska Rijeka and in Virpazar, "News" from the Public Enterprise National Parks of Montenegro were told.
They were caught in the action of the protection service of the National Park "Lake Skadar" and the control and monitoring service, in which several supervisors participated, who controlled endangered areas and piers.
JP NPCG explains that a hunting lamp, spears for fishing, a battery, an outboard motor and a vessel were found and temporarily confiscated from the offender.
"In another case, we found a person engaged in commercial fishing without a license. The persons found were handed over to the competent authorities for further processing," said the JP.
The services of NP "Skadarsko jezero" prosecuted seven poachers in the previous months.
After yesterday's, another successful action, they appealed to all users of the area to behave responsibly towards the values of the NP "Skadarsko jezero".
They called on the citizens to report all illegal activities to their Call Center at the number 067-000-825, in order to preserve the common good - Lake Skadar.
