Darko Šarić, Dejan Lazarević, Duško Šarić and 12 other people, identified as members of a criminal group, were accused of a number of serious crimes, including attempts to kill the witness-collaborator Nebojša Joksović, and placing explosives under the car of Goran Nikolašević.
The defendant Šarić is accused of having founded a criminal group at the beginning of 2020, while he was in the detention unit in Ustanička Street, and of transmitting orders to the members of the criminal group via the Sky application, from the encrypted phone he had in his cell.

Darko Šarić has been identified as the organizer of a criminal group that was founded in early 2020, with the aim of killing Nebojša Joksović, the crown witness-collaborator of the Prosecution for organized crime in the proceedings before the Special Court in Belgrade against the accused drug lord. The plan of the criminal group was that, if Joksović did not take his life, to discredit himself as a witness-collaborator in the proceedings against Šarić, with the aim of losing the aforementioned status.
As the prosecution claims, the defendants wanted to show that Joksović, after receiving the status of witness-collaborator, continued to commit criminal acts, that is, that he was preparing the murder of Goran Nikolašević, a witness in the proceedings against Šarić.
The defendants are accused of hiring two people, including the fan Uroš Radovanović (Mišić), to plant explosives under Nikolašević's car in Valjevo, and on that occasion, greater material damage was caused.
Then, through the accused members of the criminal group employed by the MUP, they directed the investigation towards Joksović and thus convinced Nikolašević to file a criminal complaint against him. They also took advantage of the fact that since 2018 Nikolašević stated that he had knowledge that Joksović was allegedly preparing his murder, and in that way they convinced him that Joksović was behind the criminal act.
According to the indictment, which Nova.rs had access to, the defendants are charged with two assassination attempts on Joksović - one at the "Drina Regatta" and the other in Belgrade.
"In the period from the beginning of March 2020 until July 05.07.2020, 2020 year, in Belgrade and in the wider area of Bajina Bašta, in a state of saneness, aware of their act, knowing that it was prohibited, and the execution of which they wanted, acting according to the plan and agreement, the defendants agreed, planned, organized and procured the means to Nebojša Joksović took his life in reckless revenge. The defendant Darko Šarić ordered the members of an organized criminal group to kill Joksović in the territory of Belgrade or Bajina Bašta, where the conditions are created for it, and in such a way that at the beginning of March 2020, the defendant Milan Vučinić, in accordance with the order and his task, using an encrypted phone with through the installed Skaj ECC application informed Darko Šarić that the injured Joksović will be a participant in the "Drinska regatta" event in July XNUMX and that this is an opportunity for the injured Joksović to take his own life," according to the indictment, which Nova.rs had access to.
In the following period, the group worked to acquire appropriate weapons, find and hire the immediate perpetrator, and as the prosecution claims, all of this was financed by Šarić.
"The accused Vučinić finds an unknown person with the nickname "Kurjak", with the task of acquiring a weapon and taking the victim's life, after which the unknown person "Kurjak" ordered a sniper rifle. "Kurjak" found another perpetrator of the crime, an unknown person with the nickname "Engineer", who acquired another weapon to commit the crime, so the unknown "Kurjak" and unknown "Engineer" toured and observed the terrain around the river Drina, which is traditionally used by rafts participants of the "Drina Regatta" manifestation, where they found the most favorable places for the execution of the planned criminal act", it is stated.
After the "Drina Regatta" event was postponed, the plan was to kill Joksović in Belgrade.
"Darko Šarić made the decision to take the injured Joksović's life in the area of Belgrade. He informed the defendant Dejan Lazarević, ordering him to undertake all necessary activities in order to commit the criminal act related to the acquisition of appropriate weapons, finding and engaging the immediate perpetrator of the criminal act, securing the apartment intended for hiding the perpetrator of the criminal act, and at the same time promised to pay all costs as and a reward to the immediate perpetrator of the criminal act, according to which orders the defendant Lazarević acted", the indictment states.
For that task, according to the prosecution's claims, Lazarevic hired an anonymous person "Alen", to whom he transmitted the orders received from the defendant Darko Šarić.
Šarić transmitted orders to the members of his group via the encrypted phone he used in the detention unit. He used several names on the Sky app - Kasel, Gorštak, Liam, Jenny, Roberto, Gati...
The indictment also includes members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, including Milutin Radovanović and Danilo Stojanović, who in exchange for money gave information about the investigations being conducted against the accused members of the group.
In exchange for the information, they received around 50.000 euros, which they invested in furnishing weekend houses in Nemenikuće.
