The President of the Municipality of Tuzi, Nik Đeljošaj, announced that the main trial continued before the Basic Court in Podgorica based on the indictment of the ODT, in which, as he says, his "colleagues" and he were "accused of having committed the criminal offense of inciting resistance".
"This part of the evidentiary procedure exposed the farce and the role of the state prosecutor to the core, that every word in the indictment fell into the water today, in the process that takes place before the court panel, and the only thing that was proven in the courtroom today is that this is an exclusively political process." , Đeljošaj stated in the announcement.
As a reminder, the ODT is investigating the case of Đeljošaj due to his statement that he will not comply with the measures to combat the coronavirus and the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of calling for resistance.
"I am convinced that the public, through the serious media and the yellow press, watched the introduction that was carefully planned for the needs of this court proceeding, and just today, during the evidentiary proceedings, part of the video material recorded by the Police Administration was reviewed." he said.
He adds that "despite the probable subsequent edits, from the video material one can see all the justification of the actions of the people who are on the dock".
As he says, despite the fact that a lot of time has passed since the critical event, Đeljošaj claims that he is "extra proud of his actions, of his cultured and polite behavior and maximum cooperation with the police".
He points out that he will also avoid any qualification at the expense of the acting judge, "who, even today, on several occasions, crossed the line of good taste and professional integrity and relations that holders of judicial office must have with their attitude".
"I stand first among equals in defending rights and dignity and fighting against any kind of discrimination, and therefore I claim that this is another attempt to attack the Albanian people in Montenegro, a perfidious attempt to discipline representatives of Albanian political representatives and humiliate all political, social and economic achievements Albanians in Montenegro recently," Đeljošaj concluded.
