A tow vehicle with German license plates, which was transporting cars, burned down last night on the main road Cetinje - Podgorica, and no one was injured in the fire.
The Cetinje newspaper states that enormous material damage was caused.
"At 3.45:XNUMX a.m., we received a report that a tow truck was on fire on the turnpike to Rijeka Crnojevića. We went to the scene with four vehicles and eight firefighters, and a car transport truck and nine vehicles on it were on fire," said Miloš Ćećanović, commander Protection and rescue services of the Capital.
He added that they could not put out the fire themselves.
"So we accepted the offer of our colleagues from Podgorica, who came with one vehicle and three firefighters. The extinguishing operation was completed at 4.30:XNUMX a.m.," added Ćećanović.
It is stated that the driver of the truck was a citizen of Greece, that the vehicles were completely destroyed, and only the cab of the truck was saved from the fire.
