Podgorica police arrested BS (23) after finding five small packages with contents suspected to be marijuana, the Police Administration (UP) announced.
The announcement states that the total weight of the confiscated packages is about 350 grams.
"Police officers performing observation on the main road Podgorica - Virpazar, in order to prevent the abuse of narcotics, in the village of Mojanovići, spotted a male person coming out of an abandoned building and continuing his movement towards the main road", they added.
The UP explained that seven smaller and one larger package of marijuana, as well as a scale for precise measurement, were also found in the building from which BS left.
"The prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica was informed of the incident, by whose order BS was deprived of his liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production, possession and distribution of narcotic drugs," they concluded.
