The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Serbia announced this evening that in the continuation of the international operation, during which nine people suspected of multiple murders in Greece were arrested, another person was arrested on the territory of Barcelona, in Spain.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that MS (46), a member of an organized criminal group who is charged with the criminal offense of aggravated murder, committed in Corfu, Greece, was arrested.
Earlier it was announced that, in a joint operation by Serbia, Spain, Greece and the Republic of Srpska, MB (42), DJ (32), DT (60), VV (33), SV (38), VM (45) were previously arrested. ND (35), RS (61) and AR (44) - suspects of several murders and attempted murder on the territory of Greece
"The organizers of the mentioned organized criminal group are Radoje Zvicer, Darko Šarić and Veljko Belivuk, and criminal charges have been filed against a total of 18 persons," the head of the Criminal Police Directorate, Ninoslav Cmolić, told reporters.
He stated that the criminal acts refer to the murders of Alan Kožar, Damir Hadžić, Igor Dedović and Stevan Stamatović, as well as the wounding of Stamatović's wife.
