Baranka SJ (78) died last night when a train ran into her, about a kilometer from the railway station in Virpazar, in the direction of Crmnica, reports Radio Bar.
"The dispatcher of the railway station, Ivan Vujisić, reported that the train hit a woman. She died on the spot. According to the family, she is a demented person. The woman's body will be transported for an autopsy, by order of the Basic State Prosecutor, Nusreta Arapović," Radio Bar and Bar Info were informed by the police.
The Railway Transport of Montenegro (ŽPCG) announced that the woman was hit by a freight train.
The company added that because of this, one passenger train was delayed last night until the investigation was completed, and that today the railway traffic was not interrupted and was running regularly.
