The police have warned the citizens that several women are falsely presenting themselves as members of a humanitarian organization and are asking for money for the treatment of sick children on their behalf.
The Podgorica police was informed about the fraud by a humanitarian organization whose name was not mentioned.
"It has been reported that, for the time being, unknown female persons represent themselves as representatives of the mentioned organization during tours of private companies, as well as when meeting with citizens, from whom they ask for money for the treatment of sick children. We warn citizens that this is a fraud, and to pay attention and do not succumb to such requests from these persons, but to report any case of this type to the Police Directorate, which is intensively working to shed light on this case," the announcement reads.
