Former Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoj Katnić was detained for up to 72 hours after the hearing at the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT), his lawyer Dragutin Durutović told Vijest.
He explained that he was appointed from the list of the Bar Association as an ex officio defense attorney and that he did not attend the hearing, because that was Katnić's wish.
"I received the detention decision and for now I do not have any specific information. I did not attend the hearing, because the suspect does not want to hire a defense attorney," said Durutović.
Earlier this evening, around 21.40:XNUMX p.m., Katnić was taken out of the building of the Special Police Department (SPO).
Katnić and former high-ranking police official Zoran Lazović were arrested this morning by order of the SDT. They were arrested by SPO officers on the order of the SDT, which suspects them of creating a criminal organization and abuse of official position.

After the hearing, Lazović was detained for up to 72 hours.
