Members of the Special Police Department search the family home of Zoran Lazović in Podgorica.
The search of his family home in the Zabjelo neighborhood of Podgorica was postponed last night, because the police spent hours searching his property in Bijelo Polje.
The former assistant director of the Police Administration in charge of the most important sector in that security institution was deprived of his freedom yesterday, by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office.
He was handcuffed by members of the Special Police Department (SPO), headed by Predrag Šuković.
He and former Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnić were arrested on suspicion of creating a criminal organization and abusing their official position.
Special prosecutor Miloš Šoškić is investigating them in the case formed due to the lifting of the ban on entering Montenegro for Belgrade criminals and mercenaries of the Kavačka clan, Veljko Belivuk and Marko Miljković.
