A fenced luxury complex with at least three houses, a swimming pool and auxiliary facilities in the village of Bajramovica, houses, apartments, a valuable wine cellar... on the list of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) so far are the properties of former police official Zoran Lazović and former chief special prosecutor Milivoj Katnic.
What really belongs to them will be known after the SDT and the officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) finish the financial investigation, which was opened in parallel with the criminal proceedings against them on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense - creation of a criminal organization and abuse of official position.
The prosecutor's office, which is headed by Vladimir Novović, announced that together with the SPO, they take numerous actions every day with the aim of identifying the assets of those defendants.
"Both those registered to the defendants and members of their families, as well as those for which there is a certain degree of doubt that they are registered to other physical and legal entities, and whose real owners are the defendants and their family members," the SDT press release states. a.

The Special Prosecutor's Office also published a video recording of part of the property, which the defendants Lazović and Katnić do not dispute is their property...
"We point out that in the further course of the procedure, the public will also be informed about other property that there is a reasonable suspicion that it is the real property of the defendants and their related persons," the SDT said in a statement.
According to the public register, Lazović also has a family house of 250 m2 with an auxiliary building in Zabjelo. In his native village of Orahovica in Bijelo Polje, there are almost 50.000 m2 of land, pastures, fields, orchards and forests, as well as several buildings, which he inherited.

As part of the financial investigation, SPO officers, with the assistance of members of the Special Purpose Police Sector, have been searching the luxury complex "Perla" in Budva for three days, where, according to "Vijesti", the apartments of Lazović's son Marko, godfather and police official Zoran Tomčić, are located, which are formally to the company Bemax, whose official owner is Ivan Ubović.
Lazović's son, police officer Marko Lazović, signed a contract with the "Bemax" company at the end of 2018 for the purchase of a 104 m2 apartment in the Tološi apartments in Podgorica.
The fact that the apartment once registered to Marko Lazović is no longer in his title deed is shown by an insight into the data of the Real Estate Administration. As of yesterday, he only had an uncategorized road of 182 square meters registered in his name.
Cooperation with that company continued even after Lazović's wife Ljiljana exchanged an apartment with Željko Beli Garić, the owner of the company "GUFO", who has multiple business connections with "Bemax" and their companies.
Ljiljana Lazović, as previously announced by MANS, gave up a 64 m2 apartment on Jola Piletić Boulevard in exchange for an 84 m2 apartment and a garage in a building in the center of Podgorica, behind the Hilton Hotel. That apartment was later gifted to their daughter Snežana Lazović.
The apartment and garage are still registered to Snežana Lazović, and only the 900 square meter meadow in Podgorica is registered in the name of Ljiljana Lazović.
The GUFO company also gave part of the million-dollar guarantee for the bail of the accused Lazović's son, Petar Lazović.

The documentation obtained by that non-governmental organization shows that Petar Lazović, as a 19-year-old, spent 2009 euros in 40.000 for a "Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 2.0", and four years later, a "mini cooper" SD ALL4, at a price of 35.000 euros. . During that period, he also had a "BMW X1" vehicle, for which the MUP did not provide any other information, so it is not known how much it cost, MANS announced earlier.

Zoran Lazović and Milivoje Katnić were arrested on April 14 by order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office. They were handcuffed by members of the Special Police Department headed by Predrag Šuković.
The former secret service agent, and then the assistant director of the Police Department, is accused of organizing a criminal group in which he recruited the former chief special prosecutor, who then worked under his instructions.

The prosecutors claim that Lazović and Katnić saved a number of Kavčans from prosecution, who had to be prosecuted for the most serious crimes.
Both of them denied the accusations at the hearing in the prosecutor's office, and then in the High Court, claiming that they were working according to the law.
Katnić refused to hire a defense attorney, after which lawyer Dragutin Durutović was assigned to ex officio represent his rights.
On April 16, the two were remanded in custody for up to 30 days, because according to the judge for the investigation, Goran Šćepanović, if they defend themselves, they could escape or influence the witnesses.
Lazović's defense attorneys, lawyers Zoran Piperović and Stefan Jovanović, said that Lazović knew he would be arrested, so he did not run away and that he would never do it.
They also claim that he could have influenced the witnesses, but that he did not do so: "And now they need someone who is inaccessible to the state authorities, and whom they consider to be their accomplice, to look for him on Mars and Jupiter, and he does not say how." , said Piperovic.
Katnić is on a hunger strike in the pre-trial prison, and the institution told Vijesti that their medical service is monitoring the health condition of the detained long-time judge and prosecutor.

Milivoje Katnić wrote in the property register that he is the owner of a two-room apartment of 66 m2 and that he owns a third of about 142.000 square meters of forest, pasture and barren land on Velestovo...
A house in the village of Klikovače of 160 square meters with a yard of 500 square meters was registered in the name of his wife Nataša.
Katnić also has an auxiliary building of 88m2 and 45m2, which are registered to Nataša Katnić, but pastures of 3950 m2, which she acquired by purchase.
A business premises of 39m2, which was received as a gift, was also registered in the name of Katnić's wife.
An apartment of 58 square meters, which he received as a gift, was registered to his son Radan, as well as three smaller business premises.
An apartment of 73 square meters and two garages is owned by the daughter of the former GST, Damjana Katnić, in the luxurious residential and business complex Master Quarter in Podgorica, which was built by the company "Master inženjering" of Podgorica businessman Vlada Ivanović and the company "Bemax".
