Beranac DR (42) was detained for up to 72 hours on suspicion of downloading images of child pornography via social networks.
He was identified and arrested earlier today by the officers of the Anti-Crime Sector, Group for Suppression of High-Technological Crimes, in cooperation with the police from Beran.
According to the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Berana, he is charged with the criminal offense of exploiting children for pornography.
"DR is suspected of having committed this criminal offense in a way that, over a long period of time, he continuously acquired and possessed pornographic images and audiovisual content of child pornography and made them available to other persons," the Police Administration said earlier.
They said that the police searched the apartment and other premises used by DR, and on that occasion two mobile phones were found and confiscated.
They added that the competent state prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) in Berane is familiar with the collected data and notifications.
