Officers of the Special Police Department (SPO) on the order of the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) searched two houses believed to belong to the family of suspected police officer Zoran Lazović in Motička Gaj near Žabljak.
House searches are carried out as part of a financial investigation that has been launched alongside criminal proceedings.
Lazović's first neighbors in Motička Gaj are some former and current police officials.
The SDT, headed by Vladimir Novović, announced two days ago that together with the SPO, they undertake numerous actions every day with the aim of identifying the assets of the defendants Zoran Lazović and Milivoj Katnić, who were arrested on suspicion of the criminal offense of creating a criminal organization and abuse of office.
"Both those registered to the defendants and members of their families, as well as those for which there is a certain degree of doubt that they are registered to other physical and legal entities, and whose real owners are the defendants and their family members," the SDT press release states. a.
The Special Prosecutor's Office also published a video recording of only part of the property, which the defendants Lazović and Katnić do not dispute is their property...
"We point out that in the further course of the procedure, the public will also be informed about other property that there is a reasonable suspicion that it is the real property of the defendants and their related persons," the SDT said in a statement.
In the officially registered property, the Lazović family does not have two houses in Žabljak registered in their names.
