For more than a year, the Montenegrin police has been silent on questions from "Vijesti" regarding whether and when he left the territory of Montenegro. Jetmir Gocaj (25), suspected of murder Ivan Krivokapić (26), in Belgrade, at the end of 2022, and are they doing anything to arrest that Gusin resident.
Gočaj has been eluding the Serbian police for the fifth month, which issued a warrant for him on January 13, 2023.
That Gusinjanin is accused of having killed the twenty-six-year-old woman out of base motives - jealousy, for which a sentence of at least 10 years of imprisonment to life imprisonment is threatened.
Just before Serbia issued a warrant for him, Gusinjanin was staying on the territory of Montenegro - in his birthplace, but since then all trace of him has been lost.
"Vijesti" asked the Police Directorate on February 14, 21 and 28, 2023, when was the last time and what measures and actions were taken to arrest Gočaj, who is wanted by Serbia for murder, but also when, according to their records, that man from Gusinja left Montenegro.
Despite numerous urgent calls, the answer did not arrive.
Questions were also sent after that, in August last year, and the last time on March 25, 2024.
"Vijesti" also then asked the Police Directorate when was the last time and what measures and actions were taken to arrest the man wanted for murder and whether that Gusinjan had left Montenegro.
The killer of Ivana Krivokapić was identified twenty days after the crime on Zvezdara, and the Serbian authorities then announced that the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade suspected Gocaj of the crime of capital murder due to base motives - jealousy.
He is suspected of killing Krivokapićeva, with whom he was in an emotional relationship, between 23:2022 and 00.37:5.30 on December XNUMX, XNUMX.
"On the specified day, he came to Ivana's apartment on Zvezdara, where he had been staying since December 11, 2022, and entered into a verbal argument with her. Then he began to clamp his hands over her mouth and nose until she expired, then he locked the apartment and took the key with him. It is suspected that on the same day he left the territory of Serbia by bus", the High Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade announced on January 13.
At that time, they explained that they identified Gočaj after the intensive operational work of the VJT and the Third Department of the Criminal Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia.
Her brothers found the lifeless body of the twenty-six-year-old a day later, in the rented apartment where she was staying.
After the crime was discovered, Gusinjanin posted photos of them together on social networks, and sent messages to certain media in which he denied any connection with the murder.
