NLT (29), a citizen of South Africa, was arrested on suspicion of killing her mother in Perast this morning.
The Police Directorate (UP) announced that the medical staff of the Health Center in Kotor reported to the police that the lifeless body of a woman was found in a residential building in Perast, and that her daughter, NLT, was also found there.
"The police went to the scene where the identity of the person who died was established, and measures and actions were taken in order to establish the facts and circumstances under which the person died," the statement of the UP points out.
The UP added that an on-site investigation was carried out in the presence of a prosecutor from the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica, as well as an officer of the Forensic Center.
"After undertaking comprehensive investigative activities, members of the police came to suspect that the perpetrator of this crime was NLT and she was deprived of her liberty. Along with a criminal complaint, she will be brought to the acting prosecutor at the Higher State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica for further jurisdiction," the statement concludes.
