Police in Budva arrested NR (49) from Kosovo, residing in Budva on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of violence in the family or in the family community, the Police Directorate (UP) announced.
"It is suspected that he committed this criminal offense to the detriment of his wife, by physically and mentally abusing her for a long period of time, and addressed her with threatening words for her life and body," the statement reads.
The UP emphasized that the NR was brought to the acting prosecutor in the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Kotor with a criminal complaint for further jurisdiction.
