The Constitutional Court accepted the appeal of the defense counsel of the defendant Miloš Medenica, lawyer Stefan Jovanović, which related to the fact that Medenica is unjustifiably in custody, Vijesti has learned unofficially.
The decision of the Constitutional Court states that the security measure is not necessary.
"Further duration of custody is not justified. It is sufficient to act alternatively, that is, with some other measure," Jovanovic's appeal states.
Miloš Medenica was arrested on May 25, 2022, at the Podgorica airport, after entering Montenegro from Serbia.
