This is written in the financial statement, which "Vijesti" had access to, and which was submitted to the Revenue and Customs Administration of Montenegro by their partner company "Spencer & Hill Team".
The godfathers could not brag about how things went in 2020, because then their company had a loss of 569 thousand euros.
And while the company that manages the hotel complex in Vičići was operating in a profit, the company to which "Mediterran" is registered, "Spencer & Hill", which is one hundred percent owned by Peković, last year, as written in the financial statement, operated in the minus of even 1,5 million euros.
The value of the assets of "Spencer & Hill team" was estimated at 4 million euros, which is three million less than in 6. The long-term receivables of that company are 2020 million euros, while the short-term claims are 2,8 euros. Cash on the accounts of Peković's and Šarić's companies amounts to 848.000 euros.
The company "Spencer & Hill" has assets worth 19,1 million euros, which is one and a half million less than in 2020, exactly as much as the loss of the company last year.
With last year, the total loss of companies has now reached 5,7 million euros.
Five years ago, the former NBA basketball player sold a hotel in Vičići for eight and a half million euros. At the end of July 2017, Peković signed a sales contract with the bankruptcy administration of the company "Maestraltours" Blaž Dedić, a businessman whom the Serbian media associated with Darko Sarić, Duško's older brother, who was recently arrested again on suspicion of having organized a drug smuggling group even while he was in prison.
Peković and Duško Šarić had plans to reconstruct the "Mediterranean", but also to build a five-star hotel on the site of the aqua park and garage within the hotel complex.
Back in August 2019, Peković's company submitted a request and attached an amended conceptual solution, after the Office of the Chief Architect of Budva refused to issue approval for three towers of 11 and 15 floors each, which were supposed to rise along the Jadranska magistrala itself, between " Mediterranean" and "Splendid". The company reduced its capacity by a fifth, so the future hotel was supposed to have nine floors in two buildings.
And while they were waiting to get approval, and the Municipality, for its part, was silent to approve the conceptual solution, a moratorium was introduced, by decision of the Government of Montenegro, on the planning document, the Detailed Urban Plan "Bečići", which now prohibits construction.
Peković can't even boast about the business of his company "Top Hill", which runs two popular discotheques, Budva's "Top Hill" and Kotor's "Maximus".
Last year, the company operated with a loss of EUR 90. The value of the company's assets is 2,8 million euros, and the revenues were 1,2 million euros, while long-term loans are 1,6 million euros.
Peković, who is not formally registered in the Central Register of Business Entities as the owner of the company "Top Hill", but the company "Domino investment" from the Marshall Islands, admitted three and a half years ago in an interview with the Serbian media that he was behind this Budva company. company, stating that he bought it at an auction, because it was in bankruptcy.
”Top hill” operated in the red in 2020 as well of 217 thousand euros.
On the other hand, the Municipality of Budva requests that "Top Hill" pay it the rent of the land on Topliš hill, where the largest outdoor disco in this part of the Adriatic is located.
Namely, the Secretariat for Property Protection of the Municipality of Budva submitted a lawsuit to the Commercial Court against the Budva company "Top Hill" requesting the collection of a debt of 231 thousand euros, and requested that compulsory collection be carried out.
