The government has decided to extend the deadline for the adoption of the General State Regulation Plan until October 14 next year, but this proposal needs to pass through the parliament in order to enter into force.
At the session of the Government today, changes to the Law on Spatial Planning and Construction of Buildings regarding the extension of this deadline for the year were determined, and the draft law will be submitted to the parliamentary procedure.
The Minister of Ecology, Spatial Planning and Spatial Development, Ana Novaković Đurović, said that there will be no blockade and urban chaos, and she announced that she will also propose extending the deadline for the creation of the State Spatial Plan, which is in the draft stage. The deadline for adopting the Spatial Plan expires on October 1.
Prime Minister Dritan Abazović said that the position of the Constitutional Court is that all plans are in force until new ones are adopted.
