The contract on the development of the main project of the city stadium in Ulcinj will be solemnly concluded for the Municipality Day, which this year is celebrated on April 6.
This was confirmed by the investment secretary to "Vijesti". Minir Karamanaga.
The contract will be signed by the leaders of the southernmost Municipality and the companies "Decom Montenegro" from Podgorica and "Proing" from Novi Sad, whose joint offer was the most favorable in the recently concluded tender.
The decision on the selection of the most favorable offer, on the proposal of the Commission for the implementation of public procurement procedures, was made by the President of the Municipality Omer Bajraktari.
The deadline for the development of the project is 120 days from the conclusion of the contract.
Public Procurement Officer Nailj Bajri, in a letter to Karamanagi, stated that the Secretariat for Investments should ask bidders for a guarantee for the quality execution of the contract in the amount of 10 percent of the value of the contract.
The estimated value of the public procurement is 165 thousand euros.
Previously, last year, the Municipality chose the architectural conceptual design of the new stadium. At the international competition, the first place and a prize of 20 euros was won by the work of the author's team from Belgrade Bojan Jovančević, Aleksandar Cosic, Sara Petkovic i Jelena Džinović.
The prize fund totaled 40.000 euros - 20 euros for the first prize, 12 euros for the second and 8 euros for the third.
The commission decided to award the first and second prizes, but also to buy three works. The third prize was not awarded.
The members of the competition jury, it is added, were the chief city architect Muho Uruči, who was also the president of that body, and members B.Sc. Eng. arch. prof. Ph.D Ljubiša Folić, B.Sc. Eng. arch. prof. Ph.D Bujar Demjaha, B.Sc. Eng. arch. Iva Petković, B.Sc. Eng. construction Lunji's mentor, B.Sc. Eng. arch. Mehmed Mila and Secretary General of the Football Association of Montenegro Momir Đurđevac.
According to the project documentation, it will be a stadium of the second category according to the UEFA regulations, with two stands with a total capacity of 2.500 to 3.000 spectators, of which at least 50 in a special VIP box, 20 in a centrally placed box for journalists, as well as at least 5 percent in a separate area for visiting fans. fans in the east stand.
At the end of 2022, the government made a decision on the transfer of real estate rights to the Municipality of Ulcinj for land with an area of 77.000 square meters on Velika plaža, which created the conditions for the construction of a football stadium.
