Ministry: Expressway will be added to PUP Pljevlja

The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property reacted to the text "No expressway, drawn airport and seven helipads".

"There will be an announced high-speed road Crnča - Pljevlja - Goražde! Namely, this road is foreseen in the Draft Spatial Plan of Montenegro until 2040, which is under public discussion. There is no need for excessive sensationalism, because the reason why this road is not currently in the draft PUP of Pljevlja lies in the fact that its development began in November 2022. This PUP was created on the basis of the valid PPCG, and this road is not included in it, so there was no planning basis for its inclusion in the Draft PUP. However, with the new PPCG, which is currently under public discussion, this road is introduced (planned), so that after the public discussion and with the submission of an initiative by the competent authorities, the conditions are met for it to be implemented and officially included in the PUP Proposal of Pljevlja ", it was stated in the response.

On March 19, "Vijesti" asked the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property why this road is not included in the draft PUP of Pljevlja, whether it will be added during the public debate on this spatial document, as well as whether what the fact that this road is not included in the PUP draft may have a negative impact on the public call for the preparation of the preliminary design of that expressway, which was announced by Monteput. The department did not send a response until the publication of the text on March 25.
