The economy could have huge benefits through gradual access to the single European market, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić said at a meeting with representatives of the Union of Employers (UPCG).

Spajić, as announced by his cabinet, pointed out at the meeting that the Growth Plan was designed as a mechanism for joining the countries of the Western Balkans to the large European market, which is why it is crucial to effectively implement the planned reforms.

"In the context of accession, it will be particularly important to join SEPA (Single Payment Area in Euros), which should facilitate all types of payments with all European countries," the announcement says.

It is stated that it has been established that the intention of the European Commission is to connect businessmen from Montenegro with companies from the European Union (EU) through the Growth Plan.

Spajić emphasized the importance of receiving the Report on the Fulfillment of Temporary Benchmarks (IBAR), after which each department will work on closing certain chapters, and in this sense, a large number of experts from the EU will provide special assistance.

"It was concluded that this will also bring effective answers to all open questions, which employers also face," the announcement says.

Spajić's cabinet said that in the conversation it was said that the fight against the gray economy must be among the priorities, and that social dialogue and comprehensive analysis are key to all systemic solutions.

As it was announced, UPCG welcomed the announced infrastructure projects, because it will increase the economy and diversify the economy.

The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Naida Nišić, presented the plan for digitizing the work of the Employment Agency, which, as stated, should benefit both employers and unemployed citizens.
