All doors are open for the partnership between Montenegro and the United States of America (USA) and the 44th government has succeeded in building Montenegro's reputation as a credible partner, announced the US envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.
He said this at a meeting with the Minister of Finance of Montenegro Novic Vuković.
The Ministry of Finance announced that Vuković and Eskobar met at the State Department, and that they discussed the economic dialogue between the USA and Montenegro and the potential for bilateral strategic dialogue, which would stimulate interest in key development sectors of Montenegro such as trade, energy , IT and the academic sector.
The announcement also states that Escobar emphasized that the US will continue to support Montenegro's commitment to European integration.
"Minister Vuković thanked the USA for its open support and partnership, emphasizing that full membership in the European Union is the absolute foreign policy priority of the Government of which he is a member, as well as that, with the full commitment of the department he manages, he will contribute to its achievement," he writes in announcement of the Ministry of Finance.
