The Ministry of Transport and Maritime Affairs received a document confirming that the state of Montenegro is the owner of the Embraer aircraft codenamed "Charli", said Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs Filip Radulović.
"The mentioned document confirms that the state of Montenegro is the owner of the aircraft and that it has the right to dispose of the aircraft. We now have access to the aircraft, which means that we will immediately do an analysis and see what condition it is currently in," said Radulović.
He said that Charlie's fate will be known after his condition is assessed.
"I expect that we will soon know how much money would be needed to return "Charli" to seaworthy condition. After that, we will make a final decision on what to do with that aircraft," concluded Radulović.
