The President of the Board of Directors of the Public Enterprise for the Management of Marine Property, Blažo Rađenović, accused the Minister of Spatial Planning, Urbanism and State Property Janko Odović and Prime Minister Milojko Spajić of misleading the tenants of the marine property.
"Deceptions by the Government of Montenegro and our line minister will never end. Another in a series of publicly expressed views that the contracts of all tenants in the maritime property zone will be annexed turned out to be untrue. Namely, a significant number of tenants of temporary buildings that were included in the plan and program for the period from 2019 to 2023 and had signed contracts for the previous season will not be able to this year, due to the fact that they are excluded from the program of temporary buildings by the Ministry of Spatial Planning , urban planning and state property, headed by Janko Odović, deleted locations," announced Radjenović.
He stated that the reason for this way of creating a selective plan and program cannot be clear to anyone because it is about classic discrimination and the implementation of the arbitrariness of the 44th Government of Montenegro Milojko Spajić and Minister Janko Odović.
"With actions like this, they contribute to jeopardizing the tourist season and send a message that one of the main branches of the economy, which should generate more than a billion euros in revenue, is not their priority. We do not yet have the exact number of deleted temporary buildings from the plan because it has not yet been published on the website of the Government of Montenegro. What I know for now is that beach tenants will not have this problem, but tenants of temporary facilities will, and for that reason we expect responsibility primarily from Minister Odović, but also from Prime Minister Spajić," concludes Radjenović.
