The old five-year Temporary Locations Program expired on December 31 last year, and now practically all catering terraces, temporary facilities set up on municipal land from the Old Town to the hinterland are illegal, and the old tenants are still using them, while rents have not been paid.

The reason for this is that the Commission has not yet completed drafting the draft, which, after it is completed, must undergo a public discussion, and then be presented to the councilors of the Municipal Assembly, whose mandate has been shortened. Bearing in mind that the season has begun in earnest, and that almost all restaurateurs have started setting up terraces to meet the May Day holidays, when the arrival of a large number of guests is expected, the Municipal Police and the Inspection are left to carry out controls according to the old expired program or to ban and remove everything catering terraces, which is impossible, because the current city administration of Milo Božović does not want to collect negative points in the run-up to the elections.
