Podgorica, as the economic center of Montenegro, offers a chance for all those who have a clear vision and a clear mission, said the mayor Olivera Injac, at today's first session of the new convocation of the Council for improving the business environment in the territory of the capital.
The session discussed important topics for the development and improvement of the business environment in the territory of Podgorica.
"Our focus must be on creating a stimulating business environment that attracts investors, encourages innovation and supports small and medium-sized enterprises. We live in a time of exceptional opportunities, and Podgorica, as the economic center of Montenegro, offers a chance for all those who have a clear vision and a clear mission." said Injac, as announced by the capital.
The Council for Improving the Business Environment, whose members are representatives of local and state administration, the business, scientific and business communities and representatives of international partner organizations, coordinates activities aimed at implementing priority reform measures and improving the business environment. It is precisely these reform measures, as stated, in the function of "removing business barriers and unnecessary regulations and procedures implemented by local government bodies in order to create conditions for greater competitiveness and faster economic growth in the area of the Capital City of Podgorica."
"That is why I am happy that we are here today and that we will strengthen the business community and build a better future for all citizens with our combined forces. I am convinced that, thanks to your commitment to socially responsible business, support for local initiatives and a sense of responsibility towards the community, we can create an environment where where work and innovation are appreciated and rewarded, and where the market opens up with new opportunities", said Injac during the chairing of the session.
"Let dedication to the development of Podgorica be among the business priorities, let our decisions be brave, and our actions inspiring, because that is the only way we can build Podgorica which will be a role model, as a safe and prosperous environment and the driving force of the economic development of our city and country", concluded the mayor.
The session discussed the investment potential of Podgorica and the results achieved in the previous year in the field of digitization and improvement of work processes.
