The issue of St. Stefan will be resolved in the near future, announced the President of the Assembly Andrija Mandić.
He stressed the importance of preserving the cultural heritage, and said that this peninsula will be open again for many visitors.
He added that he will strive "for Saint Stephen to be returned to those to whom it truly belongs".
Mandic said this during the visit of the President of the Assembly of Azerbaijan Sahiba Gafarova to Budva.
This visit has a key role in the plans for the further development of this tourist destination, it was announced from the Tourist Organization of Budva.
The visit of high-ranking officials of Azerbaijan emphasizes the importance of strengthening international cooperation, exchange of experiences and potential investments.
During the meeting with the delegation of the city of Budva, which consisted of Mladen Mikijelj, director of the Public Enterprise for the Management of Marine Assets, Nemanja Kuljača, director of the Budva Tourism Organization and Bojana Pićan, a member of parliament, they discussed key issues for the further development of the city and opportunities for cooperation between Budva and Azerbaijan .
According to reports, Gafarova expressed her admiration for the beauty of St. Stefan, but she also regretted the limited access to this place.
In the talks with Kuljač and Mikijelj, the potentials for the further development of tourism and the diversification of Budva's economy were highlighted.
Kuljača emphasized the importance of attracting tourists from Azerbaijan and made an open invitation for as many tourists from this country to visit Budva and Montenegro as possible, while Gafarova pointed out that her fellow citizens would be happy to enjoy the "clean, blue sea and sun".
Mikijelj stressed the need to start the investment cycle and pointed out that it is important to be open to foreign investments, and Azerbaijan is certainly one of the most important investors present in Montenegro.
"Deepening economic cooperation is necessary for improving the tourist offer and the economic prosperity of the city of Budva," concluded Mikijelj.

In 2021, "Adritic properties" decided to close the city-hotel Sveti Stefan and Villa Miločer in XNUMX, after the locals broke the gate on Kraljičina beach, which, according to the management of the state-owned company, had been installed illegally all previous years.
Before the court in London, "Adriatic properties" initiated a procedure demanding 100 million in compensation for non-compliance with the contract, and the Government retaliated with a lawsuit.
In 2022, Statis stopped paying the rent, but then he continued after he was warned by "Sveti Stefan Hotel" to settle his obligations, because they would initiate the termination of the contract.
