"What is not certain now is whether he (Bardhi) will give us the stamp of the party, which we doubt," said Nikola Camaj.

In order to get more money from the budget, the president of the Democratic Alliance, Mehmet Bardhi, is ready to join coalitions that many members of the party do not want, that is why we are preparing our electoral list for the elections, DS councilor Nikola Camaj said yesterday.

He told "Vijesta" that the party leader ignored their demands and that they are unsuccessfully trying to get in touch with him.

"We don't know what game he is playing, but we have decided to go to the polls." What is not certain now is whether he will give us the stamp of the party, which we doubt, but given that the law allows us, we will use that right," said Camaj.

The president of the DS said that it is not true that some of the members cannot get in touch with him and that he is not clear about the reasons for these claims.

When asked by "Vijesti" how he will participate in the elections, Bardhi did not answer directly, but hinted that it will be in a coalition, because, he added, it guarantees them a better representation in the parliament.

Due to great dissatisfaction in the party, branches in four municipalities (Malesija, Plav, Gusinje and Rožaje) as well as a large number of members in other municipalities agreed to form an electoral list.

When asked by "Vijesti" what, in his opinion, are the reasons for Bardhi's decision, the councilor believes that it is about money.

"I assume that he is convinced that we would not listen to him if we went to some coalitions for which he is ready for, probably, a percentage of the budget. We believe that our citizens are worth much more, they are much more precious than the small percentage that Mr. Bardhi is crying out for," he said.

Camaj said that dissatisfaction in the party led by Bardhi is not new.

"During the last parliamentary elections, we did not support the coalition with (President of the Democratic Party Famitor) Đek and Niko Đeljošaj (MP of the Albanian Alternative), because we knew that it was not a healthy coalition, which has been proven," he said.

The coalition agreement of the Democratic Party, the Democratic Alliance and the Albanian Alternative stipulated that two years of the parliamentary mandate belong to someone from the DP or AA, and the other two years to someone from the DS.

However, Đeljošaj did not hand over the parliamentary mandate to Bardhi.

Albanians should not be a decorum as before, but a factor in Montenegro

DS councilor Nikola Camaj said that he really thinks that citizens of Albanian nationality deserve much more than what the coalitions offer them and what personal and party interests mean.

"I think that the Albanians in Montenegro need a list that is not ready for unhealthy coalitions, that is not ready for rotten compromises, that is ready to ensure that the Albanians in Montenegro are a factor in Montenegro and not a decoration, not an ornament. We all know what we've had for the last three or four years, including the Albanians, and it was followed by the media, everything that happened regarding support for the Government, regarding other things, that we were just a dector there," Camaj said.
