Đeljošaj will not retire from parliament

The MP of the Albanian Alternative (AA) Nik Đeljošaj will not withdraw from the parliament, despite the request of the leader of the Democratic Alliance Mehmed Bardhi, "Vijesti" has learned from the Albanian coalition.

"The parliamentary seat has not been usurped and Bardhi knows that very well," said the interlocutor of "Vijesti".

Bardhi hinted at the possibility of initiating legal proceedings due to Đeljošaj's refusal to cede his mandate to him.

Referring to the coalition agreement, he claims that the second half of the parliamentary mandate belongs to him, while the first two years should have been shared by Đeljošaj and Democratic Party deputy Fatmir Đeka.
