The coalition "Together for the future of Ulcinj" and the Democratic Union of Albanians (DUA) have not yet taken an official position on whether they will negotiate with DPS or FORCA on the formation of the government, which officially invited them to negotiate yesterday.
The coalition, led by Fatmir Đeka (Democratic Party), won seven mandates, four of which belong to DP, two to Amir Holaj's Perspective, and one to Mehmet Bardhi's Democratic Alliance. Bardhi confirmed to "Vijesti" that there was no agreement within the Coalition yet.
"We haven't talked about those things so far, at least no one has consulted us yet, but I think we will take a unified position," said Bardhi.
He refused to specify whether his party would advocate forming a government with Force, which won eight, or with DPS, which has nine mandates.
Bardhi announced that DS will hold consultations on that topic today, and after that, consultations within the Coalition will follow.
"The DS has one mandate out of a total of seven, so we are listed somewhere in that sense, although sometimes one mandate is enough. I think that within our coalition there should be a unified attitude. In principle, it could be an alliance with Forca and DUA, but we still have to come to an agreement in our party and then have a position and then an agreement will follow within the coalition list. Those who have more mandates also have more obligations to pave the way," said Bardhi.
Last night, Holaj did not answer the phones available to "Vijesti". DUA won three mandates, and Mehmet Zenka said, "To the news, that party will make its final position after consultations within the party. 17 mandates are needed to form a government, so there are three options on the table - a coalition of DPS and Force, DPS with Đeka's coalition and with DUA or SDP, as well as an alliance of three Albanian lists.
