During the handing over of the electoral list of the Civic Movement (GP) URA, in front of the building of the Municipality of Ulcinj today around 13:XNUMX p.m., a rough incident occurred when the municipal official Muhamet Nika broke the party's improvised advertising board made of comics with the three letters "URA".
Ilir Harasani, a senior official of the Ulcinj URA, said that the scandal occurred because the candidates for URA councilors wanted to take a group photo in front of the Municipality building.
"This is an unprecedented scandal and I don't know if something like this happens in other parts of the world," said Harasani.
By order of the municipal prosecutor's office, Nika was interrogated by the police, and according to "Vijesti" information, a complaint will be filed against the former deputy and current translator in the Municipal Assembly (SO) on suspicion of having committed a criminal offense of violating the right to stand for election.
Also, according to the order of the prosecution, the police seized the footage from the video surveillance in front of the Municipality building.
Today, the URA handed over the election list for the February 4 elections, led by the party's high-ranking official Omer Barjaktari.
The civil movement URA has today handed over the list of councilors for the local elections in Ulcinj, scheduled for February 4, and the holder of the list is graduate economist Omer Bajraktari.
The URA will appear independently in the Ulcinj elections, and their list called "URA ULQINI GJENERATAVE Të REJA – ULCINj NOVIM GENERACIJAMA - Dritan Abazović, MSc" consists of 33 names, it was announced from that party.
