The previous two governments stopped the development of the north, we are asking for the trust of the citizens of Montenegro in order to bring Cmiljaca and Đalovića Cave to their intended use, announced Danijel Živković, the acting (acting) president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and the holder of the electoral list "Together! For a future that it belongs to you" in early parliamentary elections on June 11.
"Bjelasica is one of the greatest potentials that should be valorized in the next period of time. And when we talk about the valorization of Bjelasica, then we are talking about a quality tourist offer. And when we talk about a quality tourist offer, then we are talking about the creation of new jobs, about new economic value, because it's about a project and projects that should contribute to new economic value not only for Bijelo Polje, not only for the north of our country, but for our country as a whole," Živković pointed out, during today's visit to the Cmiljač Ski Center, DPS reported.
The press release added that Živković visited Bjelasica as part of the campaign for the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for June 11 and said that in order to create new jobs and create new economic value, the government formed by DPS together with its coalition partners launched numerous large investments in the north of Montenegro.
"Unfortunately, due to the negligence, inaction, and irresponsibility of the previous two executive authorities, all these projects in the north of Montenegro have been stopped, including here at the Cmiljač Ski Center. We have no new jobs, no new investments, and the worst thing is the equipment that is located here it is left to the test of time," said Živković.
He said that instead of witnessing the presence of investors, the opening of new hotels with four or five stars, we have abandoned construction sites in Cmiljača and, as he pointed out, we see what it looks like when carelessness and indolence turn into bad intentions.
"Bad intentions were from the previous two executive authorities. That's why we have to put an end to it in these elections, and that's why we're asking for trust from the citizens of Montenegro in order to bring these projects to their end and purpose. It doesn't take much. Here we have a project worth 30 million euros, it's necessary another ten million euros to be invested in the realization and finalization of this project. We are talking about infrastructure works and of course we are talking about the fact that we will have hundreds of jobs. We are talking about starting agricultural production where an agricultural producer will be able to market his products to those guests who will come to Montenegro, and we are talking about a new economic value," announced Živković.
In the end, he sent a message to the citizens of the north and Montenegro.
"In order for the north not to be neglected, in order to realize all these projects, it is necessary for the citizens to give us their trust in the elections on June 11. As responsible people, we will roll up our sleeves in that government and bring these projects to their intended purpose. Here, in the coming period, it will be a large construction site so that the north of Montenegro would live, so that it would be more prosperous and so that the citizens of the north of Montenegro, Bijelo Polje and Montenegro as a whole would have a better future," concluded Živković.
