Danijel Živković, acting president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and holder of the list "Together! For the future that belongs to you", he said in Kotor that the coalition will open the Ministry of Maritime Affairs in that city and provide a better position for seafarers.
"What we have as a concrete measure related to the city of Kotor and the potential of the maritime economy is the continuation of the implementation of international regulations that imply a better position for 7.000 seafarers. Our valuable human potential that represents us in a quality way in the world and that contributes to the new economic value of Montenegro. And what is even more important, which implies the opening of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs in Kotor, which will mean the preservation of the maritime tradition first and foremost", said Živković.
As it was announced, as part of the pre-election campaign, together with other candidates for deputies, he visited Kotor yesterday and presented the plans and measures of the election program of the coalition, which, along with the DPS, consists of the Social Democrats, the Liberal Party and the Democratic Union of Albanians.
"In addition, we will prevent this or any next government from taking the shipping company away from this city, because it primarily represents a good potential for the development of young staff who are educated here in Kotor at the Maritime Faculty or in high school, and who I am sure will better way to continue what is the maritime tradition of the city of Kotor", said the acting president of DPS.
Živković announced investment in local public infrastructure.
"We will try in a quality way to solve the big traffic jams in the center of Kotor, and you will see, this program offers prosperity, offers progress and offers a better standard of living to all citizens of Montenegro", concluded Živković.
