"No one can question the verticality of anti-fascism, our statehood, civil and multi-ethnic Montenegro, because a vote for this coalition is a vote for a safe and stable Montenegro", said the holder of the list "Together for the future that belongs to you" Danijel Živković.
He, as announced by the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), said at the forum held in Šavnik that that city showed how to defend the dignity of Montenegro, and added that he expects victory on June 11.
"A vote for this coalition is a vote for a civil, multinational and European Montenegro. You know for us that we will not sell the votes you entrust to us and that we will never transfer them to the altar of betrayal of Montenegro," said Živković.
Živković assessed that Šavnik was a kind of "pillar of defense" of Montenegro in the previous period.
"Nine election cycles, nine attacks on democracy in Montenegro. Nine attacks on the election cycle and the rule of law, without an adequate reaction from the institutions and with serious pressure from the side. Only brave people from the highlands can resist such pressure," said Živković.
He thanked them on that occasion, saying that they showed strength and courage, which, in his opinion, was not lacking in the Šavnica region for centuries.
"You have shown that regardless of how the institutions of Montenegro work, you politely and culturally preserve the dignity of the region of Šavnica and the dignity of Montenegro. That's how it shows, and we neither know nor know how to do otherwise. We also showed when to stop the line to some ill-mannered, uncultured and arrogant people who came to you here in Savnik to set and regulate the rules", said Živković.
In his speech, he referred to the activities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP).
"All that they are doing these and previous days from the MUP, and they are trying to write off people from the voter list, those who live in this region, who were born there and who create there, will not help them to remove us from power. We will remain a solid support of the government, and Jugoslav Jakić will remain the president of the Municipality of Šavnik," Živković is clear.
He invited all citizens of Savnik to go to the polls on June 11 and circle number 10, adding that the list "Together" leads to a better future for Montenegro.
The spokesperson of the Social Democrats (SD) and candidate for MP Nikola Zirojević addressed those present and said that it is always a special pleasure for him when he comes to Savnik.
"Let's all work together to develop agriculture in Šavnik, to enrich the tourist offer of this region, because the municipality of Šavnik abounds in great natural resources and we can certainly work on their further valorization. Instead of the schools in Šavnik being empty, let's fill them and instead of citizens and the citizens of Šavnik were looking for better conditions, they go to Nikšić, Podgorica or further, to bring people back and to bring people from some other areas to Šavnik," said Zirojević.
He assessed that Savnik, led by the mayor Jakić, will continue to follow the path of development and prosperity.
The President of the Municipality of Šavnik and the candidate from the list, Jugoslav Jakić, greeted those present.
"We managed to achieve what we set as our goal, which is to find a balance between the needs of the citizens of Šavnik and the investments in our city. We have taken numerous measures for our youngest fellow citizens, for our students and students, for the most socially vulnerable categories. We developed a range of new measures for our farmers in order to raise agricultural production to a significantly higher level, and we also did not neglect significant investments in infrastructure so that our city would develop in the right direction," said Jakić.
He also called on those present to support them in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Draga Perišić, a candidate for parliament, in her address to those gathered at the forum, said that the "Montenegro on the Move" project is an agenda that, she believes, will lead Montenegro into the society of developed European nations.
"Our plan envisages a realistic future, because we are returning investments to Montenegro, which will result in higher salaries and pensions, a greater number of social protection beneficiaries and, ultimately, a fairer distribution of performance. It also envisages Montenegro as a member of the EU, which will mean better and a more humane life for every citizen, a more developed national and local economy", announced Perišić.
At the end of her presentation, she thanked for the opportunity to be a part of, as she judged, the "Montenegro on the Move" national team, all with the goal of fighting for a better future for our country.
Those present were also greeted by the President of the DPS Municipal Board Šavnik Srećko Kotlica, who said that the electoral list is a reflection of deep party reforms carried out in the previous period.
"I am sure that the new persons who are our representatives, with their performances and activities, will not call into question all the bright results that we have achieved together from 2006 until today, and that they will carefully preserve all those fundamental values that are in we were woven by our ancestors," said Kotlica.
