The authorities are announcing a 25% increase in the price of kindergartens without published calculations on the expenditure of those funds, as well as the actual costs of the children's stay, which must not be allowed, so that the funds are not spent inappropriately, said the president of the SD Women's Forum and a candidate from the "Together" list. Ivana Raščanin-Radičević.
"All this for them does not imply strengthening of spatial and personnel capacities," she said.
As she stated, it is necessary to make it easier for parents to take care of their children, not make it harder.
"The program of the "Together" list provided for a 50% increase in allocations for material security, free snacks for all elementary school students and free transportation for children from families with poor socio-economic status, as well as subsidizing all kindergarten costs up to 100% for children at risk," she added.
Raščanin-Radičević pointed out that today women in Montenegro often take care of the household and family members in parallel with work.
"Unlike men, they spend up to 5 hours in unpaid work, so it is a real challenge to establish a balance between private and business life, women do not have equal opportunities, there are many obstacles," Raščanin-Radičević said.
She emphasized that they are planning a Fund for the Development of Women's Entrepreneurship, special credit lines and business incubators for women.
"Also, there is no need for private life to suffer because of business and vice versa, if the state offers good support services, and that is one of our first steps. After all, it was the Social Democrats who have already created an initiative for the balance of private and business life," Raščanin concluded. Radicevic.
