There is no money without creation and development, and whoever claims the opposite is trying to manipulate people in the lowest way, said the acting president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) and holder of the list "Together for the future that belongs to you" Danijel Živković.
He said this during a visit to the home of the president of the Association of Beekeepers and the former president of the Municipal Board of the DPS Pljevlja Žarko Dragašević, the party announced.
"We have riches, resources, potential for the production of healthy food, we have to use all of that in the right way," stated Živković.
He assessed that beekeepers are known as "hard-working hosts", who, as he says, are clear that the economy can only be strengthened by investment, creation and production.
"The state must help honey producers with subsidies and funds for the purchase of equipment. Beekeeping in Montenegro represents a serious potential, and we will do our best to help beekeepers to place authentic Montenegrin honey as well as possible on the foreign market. We know what resources we have, what the quality of the honey that our bees create is competitive on the world market. That's why we have to do everything to help beekeepers cope with the various challenges that honey production brings in today's circumstances, which are heavily burdened by climate change," said Živković.
He, as stated, pointed out that the state must listen to the standards of farmers.
"It must never happen again, that the relevant minister travels around the world, uninterested in people's problems, while at the same time farmers have to ask for help for their problems through blockades in front of the government. The state must offer farmers a clear development strategy, and take care that those who feed us must have the best conditions for their work," Živković concluded.
