At polling station number 1 (JU SMŠ "Braća Selić") in Kolašin, voting will be repeated in the extraordinary parliamentary elections held on Sunday, the Municipal Election Commission (MEC) decided today.
As explained, the decision was made after accepting one of the objections of the electoral list "Justice for All - Dr. Vladimir Leposavić", which states "that the number of ballots, signed receipts and coupons is greater than the number of voters identified in the extract from the voter list that they voted".
"Article 89 of the Law on the Election of Councilors and Members of Parliament stipulates that if it is determined that the number of ballots in the ballot box is greater than the number of voters identified in the extract from the voter list as having voted, the electoral committee shall be dissolved and a new one appointed, and voting at that polling station is repeated. Re-elections at polling station number 1. Kolašin 1 JU SMS Braća Selić" will be held on June 18 this year," explained the MEC.
The election list "Justice for all - Dr. Vladimir Leposavić" submitted 14 objections to the Kolašin MEC in one act, which related to polling stations 1 and 22.
MEC Nikšić and MEC Pljevlja rejected the objections of the list "Pravda za sve - Dr. Vladimir Leposavić".
