The current vice-presidents and MPs of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Ivan Vuković, Abaz Dizdarević and Jevto Eraković submitted their candidacies for the party's vice-president.
MPs Aleksandra Vuković Kuč, Dušan Raičević and Elvir Zvrko did the same.
On January 28, DPS will hold direct elections in which they will elect the president and vice-presidents of that party.
"I am honored and deeply grateful to the members of our party for more than 750 signatures in support of my candidacy. I am proud that DPS is once again setting new democratic standards in Montenegro," wrote Vuković on the social network Iks.
DPS announced on the same platform that Dizdarević submitted his candidacy.
That party announced that Eraković also submitted his candidacy for vice president.
MP Aleksandra Vuković Kuč is also in the running for DPS vice-president.
Dušan Raičević is also one of the candidates for vice president of the party.
On the Facebook page of the DPS bar committee, it was announced that Raičević had more than 500 signatures of support for his candidacy.
Elvir Zvrko also submitted his candidacy for the vice president of DPS.
DPS also announced that the submitted candidacies for president and vice-president of that party are being considered by a commission consisting of: Zoran Pažin, Andrija Radman and Branko Čavor.
