In the party premises of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), candidacies for president, vice-president and vice-presidents were submitted yesterday, the party announced.
They said that the candidacies were submitted on the basis of the decision of the DPS Main Board to conduct direct party elections in accordance with the established procedure and what represents the democratic standard.
"Namely, to the Candidacy Commission, which is authorized to verify credibility and determine the correctness of the signature of support and the fulfillment of other conditions, the candidacy for president was submitted by Danijel Živković, for vice president Aleksandra Vuković – Kuč, and the candidacy for vice presidents by Ivan Vuković, Jevto Eraković, Abaz Dizdarević, Dušan Raičević and Elvir Zvrko," the announcement states.

The DPS pointed out that after the formal determination of the fulfillment of all the necessary assumptions, all the mentioned candidacies were accepted and that in this way the collective election list was established.
"We wish all the candidates a successful presentation, and we wish the members of the DPS to be part of a positive change in the political culture of Montenegro by their direct voting and participation in this process, and together we show that we can do better," the announcement concludes.
