We are witnessing the decline of Montenegro, said the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) after the forum held in Mojkovac, as part of the campaign for internal party elections.
Candidates for vice-presidents of DPS spoke at the forum.
The results achieved here in Mojkovac clearly indicate how successfully our party exercised power in the previous period, said the candidate for the president of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Dušan Raičević.
As reported by DPS, Raičević stated at the party forum in Mojkovac that they made mistakes and that not all decisions were correct.
"However, we also admit that we are ready to change, which is confirmed by your presence. We believe that we need to arrange our house additionally, and you are an indicator of the solid policy that DPS has continuously pursued," said Raičević.
He thanked the former mayor of the municipality, Ranko Mišnić, for what he considered the quality and good development of the city.
Raičević pointed out that the changes on the political scene did not bring much good.
"We have also witnessed that the changes on the political scene that were promoted so much did not bring any good, and where better to point that out than here in Mojkovac. You know how much the government of Duško Marković worked on the development of Mojkovac, but also the rest of the north as well as the whole of Montenegro "In the previous three years, not only was nothing built, but what was built was additionally collapsed," he said.
Raičević assessed that it is necessary to continue new development projects in order, as he stated, to strengthen the economy at the local level as well as the standard of citizens.
"We must be aware that great generations of young people from the Youth Council are growing up in DPS and we should give them a chance and give them support. However, we must not forget all those dedicated members of the party who made an immeasurable contribution to the victories of DPS in the previous elections cycles. Only the synergy of experience and youth, as well as a strong team - can bring us the result that is expected of us, and only in this way will we regain the trust of the citizens", Raičević concluded.
The candidate for DPS vice-president Elvir Zvrko said that it is a special honor and pleasure for him to address the party members in Mojkovac as a candidate for DPS vice-president, and that, as he stated, his heart is full when he sees a full hall and feels positive energy.
"Thank you for being consistent with the policy of the DPS and for standing firm in the defense of our party and our country, because the DPS is the pillar and backbone of an independent and independent Montenegro," he added.
Zvrko assessed that, as he says, political competitors wished for and announced the disappearance of the DPS, and that this party, as he said, overthrew two governments during that time.
"We stopped their plan in the last three years. After Zdravko Krivokapić, came an even worse, unfulfilled man with boyish dreams who worked for some other centers and not for Montenegro. This is what prevents us from working on strengthening our party to as soon as we come to power, in order to return Montenegro to where it belongs, to be a part of European, modern civilization," he added.
According to him, the closest to him was the health sector.
"It was unimaginable to me that at one point during the operation, when I asked for hydrogen, the nurse told me that it was not available. We are talking about hydrogen, which has been used for 150 years in medicine. We did not have drugs for the most serious diseases, and we were also known for infamous records of deaths during the coronavirus pandemic. The situation is no better in the security sector, diplomacy, the economic environment has collapsed, the European perspective of the north has stopped," said Zvrko.
DPS vice-president candidate Abaz Dizdarević also thanked, as he addressed them, the doyens of DPS politics who were present in the hall.
"You were fighters for an independent, independent and prosperous Montenegro. Thank you to those "grey heads" who guided us wisely in the previous period. We will pass that knowledge on to the youth, among other things, through the political academy that we will establish in the coming period." said Dizdarević.
Dizdarević spoke about Minister Krapović's statement and congratulations on the occasion of Republika Srpska Day from the parliamentary majority.
"Today they are arguing with everyone. With Kosovo, Croatia, Bosnia. They are also arguing with Serbia. It is obvious that there is bad intent towards Montenegro. But we are not here to follow what they are doing with and from Montenegro, but to start working on We have shown how vital and sustainable we are, how sustainable the ideology is and how steadfast the values we are fighting for are," said Dizdarević.
He assessed that "this today" is not the essence of Montenegro.
"Today, we have the reincarnation of the nineties, that is, the policies we fought against. Then the target was the minority people, and today the target is the domiciled Montenegrins. And we have to put an end to that. I can proudly say that I am a member of a minority nation, but the ideology that keeps me in this party lies in the fact that we are all building our common house together," Dizdarević concluded.
