Kovačević: Who tramples the plowing?

The President of the Municipality of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, reacted to Balša Brković's column, which was published today on Portal Vijesti.

We transmit the reaction in its entirety:

"It is interesting that the writer, about whose literary works much fewer texts and analyzes were published than about one of my FB statuses, opened an interesting dilemma in his column - namely, unlike everyone else, he accused me of respecting the traditions of communism. I am all time thought that for them communists were positive characters.

Then he turned Marko Kraljević into Sisyphus compared to whom he has only one difference - struggle and provocation. In addition to respecting the traditions of communism, he also accuses me of being part of the same tradition as Marko Kraljević.

Imagine the discoveries of a great writer - a Serb is part of the same tradition as the epic hero Marko Kraljević. Of course, in this entire analysis, there is no consideration of who are those who want to 'tread on the ploughing' of Marko Kraljević.

I understand that they cannot talk about themselves because it is clear that, taking this example from our epic poetry, they precisely chose the sides between Marko Kraljević and those who 'tread his plow'. More precisely, between our people and their enemies.

In the roots of our national existence and duration, they found both their place and mine. This is the only thing that successfully defends this writer from the conclusion that he has completely lost his way in literature.

But little can defend him from the fact that he suffers from a lack of elementary logic.

In any case, in this classification of his, he also stood among those who do not care about the fact that I received real threats to my safety and that of my family.

Therefore, in their simulacrum, there is no place without guilt for us who come from one corps," said Kovačević.
