The Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro unanimously adopted a decision on a special allowance, in the amount of 60 percent of the basic salary of the Supreme State Prosecutor (VDT) Milorad Marković, from the day of his election to that position.
The President of the Board, Jelena Nedović, said that Marković addressed the Board on March 14 with a request to determine the right to a special allowance.
Nedović pointed out that Article 35 of the Law on Salaries of Employees in the Public Sector stipulates that decisions on compensation and other incomes of persons appointed or appointed in accordance with the regulations shall be made by the labor body that appointed or appointed them:
"The decision on special allowance - Article 10 provides, among other things, to the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office the right to a special allowance in the amount of 60 percent of the salary earned by the state prosecutor who handles cases of organized crime, corruption, money laundering, terrorism and war crimes".
