Dajković: I am horrified by the initiative that "Montenegro sponsors the UN Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica"

I am obliged as a Serb, a politician and a man to say that I am horrified by the new initiative of the Montenegrin NGO sector that "Montenegro is sponsoring the United Nations (UN) Resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica," Vladislav Dajković, president of Free Montenegro, announced today.

"Behind that initiative are several NGOs, led by former minister Jovana Marović, who is known for her incorrect statements, and now also for her intentions towards the Serbian people. I am strengthened in this position by the fact that Mrs. Marović never submitted any initiative about the genocide in Jasenovac, "To Bratunac, Prebilovci, Kosmet or any other place where the innocent Serbian people suffered," Dajković said in a statement.

He added that "the position of the mentioned non-governmental organizations is that several adopted resolutions on the same topic are actually insufficient because, obviously, they did not re-educate us to the extent they wanted".

"In this regard, the aforementioned 'sponsorship' would mean that the Serbs, as taxpayers, would pay for a resolution that would mark them as members of a genocidal nation. I call on the aforementioned representatives of the NGO sector, led by Jovana Marović, to turn to the future, and to stop once and for all the political abuse of victims from the wars of the 1990s, because they will start an endless spiral of resolutions and condemnations that will bring no good to anyone. resolutions and actions that go directly to the detriment of the Serbian people, both in Montenegro and in the region," said Dajković.
