The control hearing of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and Minister of Internal Affairs Danilo Saranović before the Committee for Security and Defense, regarding the appointment of Acting Director of the Police Administration Aleksandar Radović, is scheduled for June 26.
The President of the Committee for Security and Defense Miodrag Laković (PES) said, in response to the question of MP Nikola Janović (DPS), that they asked the Government for a statement and the Government made a statement.
"A summons has been sent, a date has been set..." said Laković, who did not specify the date when the hearing will be held.
The date was announced by MP URA Filip Adžić.
"I thought it was a technical error that someone scheduled a control hearing for June 26 and made it impossible for the citizens to hear what the Prime Minister and the Minister will announce. Is it a mistake or did he really schedule the hearing for June 26 when it will not make any sense" , asked Adžić, who reminded that the competition for police director is ongoing and that a new police director may be elected by then.
Janović recalled that on March 29, at the Security and Defense Committee, a unanimous decision was made for the control hearing of Spajić and Saranović.
"Given that until today we have no information on when that hearing will be, I ask the President of the Committee, Miodrag Laković, whether the conditions have finally been met for these people to come and to clarify the situation, given that there were heavy mutual accusations between them. means a control hearing next year, already now," Janović said in parliament.
Laković said that they had to coordinate the date with the obligations of Spajić and Saranović. "You have the opportunity to ask the government at the prime minister's hour at the beginning of May, so you can ask everything that is urgent then", said Laković and added that it is possible that the MPs will have additional arguments that they will use for the hearing, because it may end some administrative disputes.
