The Special State Prosecutor's Office headed by Vladimir Novović prosecuted the director of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Jelena Perović, as a result of personal animosity towards her by his wife Lidija and the desire for Vijesti and MANS to finally take control of one of the rare state institutions that has shown integrity in the last four years and resistance to media pressure, DPS spokesman Miloš Nikolić said in a statement delivered to the media.
"Yesterday's action is another example that proves the selectivity in the work of the SDT, and the fact that the information was first published by Vijesti and Aleksa Bečić is an indication of the connection between the Prosecutor's Office, the regime media and the parliamentary majority, which revanchistically persecutes everyone who shows integrity in performing their duties and which are a hindrance to the plans of the current government.
Thus, Skaj prosecutor Novović, after checking the quality of Zoran Lazović's wine and brandy, is now checking the mileage on his official car instead of doing the actual work under his jurisdiction. Novović owes the public an answer to the question of who procured Kalashnikovs and prepared the attack on institutions on August 30, who was financed by the Skaljar clan in preparation for those elections, who procured encrypted phones for Dritan Abazović, how the shares of Luka Bar were bought, who is responsible for million damages in CEDIS and Elektroprivreda, as Mijo Lekić signed a de facto contract with himself in the amount of 62 million euros, who is responsible for employing 30.000 people in four years. This is only part of the obvious inactions that have been committed in the last four years, and in relation to which the Sky prosecutor remains silent," the statement reads.
"Finally, while waiting for the SDT's response, I am asking Vukas Radonjić to do his job more seriously this time so that he does not continue to crumble the shreds of the authority of the institution he represents with another confused and incoherent reaction," concludes Nikolić.
